Salama Craft Community Center was registered in 2019 as a community-based organization through the ministry of social affairs and labor. The main goals for Salama were to enhance the livelihoods of the teenage mothers and vulnerable women in Kibra Constituency, Kenya, through the establishment of soap production, hairdressing, tailoring, vertical farming, life skills training and peanut production. The current services that Salama offers are advocacy, financial literacy, life skills, First Aid and civic education.
